Set in 1930's Manhattan, reporter Polly Perkins has noted the disappearances of many of the world's most famous scientists. After the city falls under attack of giant flying robots, she decides to team up with her old flame/aviation officer Joseph "Sky Captain" Sullivan and the end up flying to Nepal in search of Dr. Totenkopf, whose plan is to destroy the world.

We got to see some incredible footage presented by the film's creators at last April's Starfest convention. This movie owes much to the famous movie serials - as did Indiana Jones. Perhaps this movie will start a whole trend in film making? It certainly is daring. The trailers evoke a sense of mood I haven't seen since Blade Runner.
