Action Comics #770Suspended Animation Reviews
Mark Allen praises D.C.'s latest series of Superman books. In the story, which runs through several titles, the Joker remakes the world in his twisted image. The "real world" characters must first realize what has happened and then fight their dark pasts to right the Joker's meddling and return the world order.

The Future of Earth
Paul Gertz, the producer of Earth: Final Conflict, spoke recently with Melissa J. Perenson for the Sci-Fi channel. Gertz talked about the ever-changing plotline of the series and what we can expect in future episodes. He specified that the show now revolves around the two lead characters, Liam (Robert Leeshock - who is coming to Starfest 2000!) and Renee (Jayne Heitmeyer). He talked briefly about J Street (Melinda Deines), who now fills the void left by Auger's departure and went on to indicate that the series will culminate with a final confrontation between the Taelons and Jaridians.

Suspended Animation
Mark Allen finds justification for his love of comics in this week's review. While not a overwhelming endorsement for Mind's Eye, the reviewer applauds the comic for its use of the comic form AKA sequential art in the telling of its stories.

Timeship Trilogy
This website is very interesting and compelling. When I first arrived, I wasn't sure how I had missed this book series and its movies. Only upon digging deeper into the website did I discover that the movies are proposed projects - with proposed casts. The author believes so strongly in his ideas that he's already planning sequels to movies that have yet to be produced. In the books, the author solves all the World's much-debated mysteries in one unifying story involving time travel, aliens and government conspiracy. Not having read or seen the books I'm left to wonder if they too are yet to be produced. Go to the website and check it out yourself. Maybe you can figure out the mystery...

Suspended Animation
Mark Allen is excited. He's excited because he's found "a perfect example of the kind of material that brings new readers into the [comic] genre." Find out what he's found by reading this week's review of The Metabarons.

Blair Witch 2
It's not often that a sequel lives up to its predecessor, but the advance word on Blair Witch 2 is great. The movie is not just a rip-off of the original and parallels the first movie by admitting its existence in the sequel. Enough talk. Want to go to the advance screening? We have tickets to give away! Click here to register for the October 26th 9:00pm screening. Tickets are VERY limited and winners will be selected from entries. Don't bother entering more than once, duplicate email addresses will be deleted.

Suspended Animation Review
Mark Allen takes a bite out of Hero Sandwich and finds it less filling than your average comic. He applauds it's unique characters, but finds the plot weak and leaves you searching for seconds elsewhere.
