Quiz/Contest for our Monday, June 30th Screening in Denver A decade has passed since John Connor (Nick Stahl) helped prevent Judgment Day and saved mankind from mass distruction. Now 22, Connor lives "off the grid" - no home, no credit cards, no cell phone and no job. No record of his existence. Star Wars Promo Kit The Original Star Wars Collectible!
That's precisely how these two promotional items were created. A small blue and silver 7-1/2"x8-3/4" flyer bearing the Star Wars and 20th Century Fox logos and a small 16MM trailer for the soon-to-be-released movie. That promo person (now long forgotten) sent Starcon Denver a few hundred of the color flyers - so everyone at the convention could get one - but only one 16MM trailer. This is that trailer and one of those flyers. Click here to take a closer look at this item on E-Bay. |

Starland will be auctioning-off this ultra-rare collectible next week. This is the very-first Next Generation press kit. Paramount, just prior to the launch of the series, put together this pack of materials to publicize their new show. Enclosed in the printed glossy-finish folder are two photos (one of the cast and the other of the ship) and twenty-nine separate talking points about the show. This item will be auctioned on E-bay the week of June 15th. We could use your help identifying some other TNG press kits we'd like to sell. They are from later years and we're not really sure when they were produced. Even if you are just curious, take a look. Please click here to check them out and help us identify them. |

Screening Monday June 16, 2003 at 7:00pm at the UA Colorado Center in Denver Acclaimed filmmaker Ang Lee's concept for his film adaptation of the classic Marvel Comics series, The Hulk, combines all the elements of a blockbuster visual effects-intensive superhero movie with the brooding romance and tragedy of Universal's classic horror films. In depicting The Hulk as both a superhero and a monster, a wish fulfillment and a nightmare, Lee and his team have stayed true to the early subversive spirit of the character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, while completely updating The Hulk and projecting it into the dangers and aspirations of contemporary times. Click here to play our quiz/contest for tickets to the screening. |
