It is a bit confusing, trying to explain the characters that Lexa Doig portrays on Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. One is Rommie, the physical manifestation of the computer that controls, er is, named Andromeda Ascendant, a ship that flies about the galaxy fighting evil. Her other character is the actual hologram projection of the ship's sophisticated artificial intelligence system. Basically, one does most of the work of flying the ship and the other gets to run around kicking bad-boy butt. Click here to read more... |

"Womens is frickle," says Popeye, and he is right. But the one-eyed sailor doesn't generalize enough. Women are also intelligent, kind, loving, loyal, industrious, nurturing, and social--very, very social. -Michael Vance |

The 8th Wonder was collected in 1997. To date, it is one of the most unusual stories I've ever read. Unusual is good, in a medium that continues to need fresh material to balance out a steady...and stale...diet of super heroes. - Mark Allen |

Farscape actor Starbursts to Denver in April It isn’t common that an actor has two roles on one TV show, but that’s exactly the job that Lani Tupu filled on the prestigious Saturn Award-winning TV series Farscape. His face is instantly recognizable as that of the cranky and unpredictable Captain Crais, who vowed vengeance on the crew of the show’s leviathan ship, Moya. Ironically, he also provided the calm and ever-caring voice of Moya’s pilot (Pilot). In the next few days we'll be making additional guest announcements. Invitations are out to actors from Enterprise, Stargate, Andromeda, Buckaroo Banzai, and Star Wars... so far. Starfest 2004 is going to be really exciting. Click here for more info. |
