Part of our catch-up series, this edition combines a whole bunch of great reviews into one great font of comic book knowledge. Michael Vance spins out with a review on Essential Spider-Man #7 which he says is well crafted, melodramatic, and formulaic. Mark Allen shoots back with his thoughts on Spider-Man: Reign which he describes as a satisfying resolution that speaks of mankind’s need for freedom. Michael then fills us in on The Toy and Action Figure Museum in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and its Oklahoma Cartoonists collection. Michael continues with a review of Cyber Force/X-Men #1 that he says lacks an absence of plot analysis, but is redeamed by its art. Mike continues with an analysis of Canon. A quarterly short story anthology featuring the work of students and faculty - all featuring a nautical theme. Then Mike returns for his look at David: The Shepherd's Song - which he describes as a Biblically-based comic that is fun to read and a blast to look at. Michael's back with his take on Decoy: Menagerie which he slams for inconsistancies. Mark hits back with his take on Batman: Dark Knight Dynasty. He asks the question - What more could a reader want? Michael then gets in the last work on his review of He Done Her Wrong perhaps the first graphic novel and a rare peek into vaudvillian comedy from the era of the Marx Brothers and the Keystone Cops.
