The communications systems worldwide are sent into chaos by a strange atmospheric interference. The military soon discovers that a number of enormous objects are on a collision course with Earth. At first thought to be meteors, they are later revealed to be gigantic spacecraft, piloted by a mysterious alien species.

After attempts to communicate with the aliens go nowhere, David Levinson, an ex-scientist turned cable technician, discovers that the aliens are going to attack major points around the globe in less than a day. On July 3rd, the aliens all but obliterate New York, Los Angeles, and Washington. The survivors set out in convoys towards Area 51, a strange government testing ground where it is rumored the military has a captured alien spacecraft of their own. The survivors devise a plan to fight back against the enslaving aliens, and July 4th becomes the day humanity will fight for its freedom. July 4th is their Independence Day

Unable to convince the ruling council of Krypton that their world will soon destroy itself, scientist Jor-El takes drastic measures to preserve the Kryptonian race and sends his infant son Kal-El to Earth.

There, gaining great powers under Earth's yellow sun, he will become a champion of truth and justice. Raised by the Kents, an elderly farm couple, Clark Kent learns that his abilities must be used for good.

The adult Clark travels to Metropolis, where he becomes a mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet...and a caped-crusader whose amazing feats stun the city. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor, the world's greatest criminal mind, is plotting the greatest real estate swindle of all time. Can't even the Man of Steel stop this nefarious scheme?

This big-screen classic stars Christopher Reeve as Superman, Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor and Marlon Brando as Jor-El.

The Hitcher Screening

Grace and Jim are a collegiate couple tormented by the mysterious hitchhiker John Ryder, a.k.a. The Hitcher. The young couple hit the road in a 1970 Oldsmobile 442, en route to spring break. But their pleasure trip soon turns into a waking nightmare. The initial encounters with Ryder are increasingly off-putting for Grace and Jim, and they bravely fight back when he ambushes them. But they are truly blindsided when he implicates them in a horrific slaying and continues to shadow them.
 
The open road becomes a suspenseful, action-packed battleground of blood and metal as, in trying to elude not only Ryder but also New Mexico State Police Lieutenant Esteridge’s officers, Grace and Jim must fight for their lives and face their fears head-on.

Aiden Galvin is an artist researching Bucharest’s ancient art and relics for his next graphic novel based on the mythology of the loup garoux – shape shifters whose power to change effortlessly into the forms of both human and wolf was once considered holy among men.

Wrestling demons of his own, Aiden hopes to explore the inner lives of these outsiders that he believes were persecuted to extinction – labeled monsters, murderers, werewolves. They achieved what he lacks – transcendence, the ability to change what they are. What he doesn’t know is that the loup garoux are not only very real, they’re far from extinct.

During a chance encounter in an abandoned church celebrating the loup garoux, Aiden unknowingly comes face-to-face with the real thing …Vivian.

The sequel to Alien is a non-stop, high-tech, war movie, with Space Marines. Ripley is found in deep space by a salvage ship, 57 years after narrowly escaping with her life - and her cat - at the end of Alien. She then discovers The Company have colonised the planet where the alien was first encountered. When contact with the colony is lost, The Company send a team of Space Marines, with Ripley as an "advisor", to find out what has happened.
