Building on the haunted houses continues at a break-neck pace. Yesterday one of our tasks was installing a roll-down door into one of the trailers that is all-set to go out to the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield for The Butcher haunted house. This was a lot harder than you might think.
These doors need to be cut into each of the eight trailers that will be used to make-up The Butcher Haunted House. This way visitors will be able to walk directly from one 45' trailer into the next without having to climb up and down a ramp or stairs. This system allows us to have a completely portable haunted house that can be relocated to any open field (like at Chatfield) or parking lot. Most importantly, this way we are able to keep the whole haunted house and the visitors protected from the elements. The whole haunted house is indoors.
By using a total of eight trailers, the total walking distance for the new haunted house will be greater than any of our haunted houses last year (this year we significantly increased the size of both The 13th Door and the Curse of Slaughterhouse Gulch, so they are still bigger this year). Not only is The Butcher going to be big, but the scares will be more tightly packed than in any of our other haunted houses. Perhaps I should be building a defibrillator too?

Jimmy "Dodge" Connelly is the team captain of the Bulldogs in the struggling pro football league in 1925. The entire pro football league is in danger of collapsing, one team at a time, and his team is next.
Dodge gets an idea of saving the team by recruiting a college football star who fills the college stadium with over 45,000 cheering fans. With the lure of big money, Dodge is able to convince Carter Rutherford to drop out of college and join the team.
Carter is not only a star football player who can outrun his completion, but he is also a national war hero of WWI who single-handedly captured a platoon of German soldiers.
Lexie Littleton is a newspaper journalist assigned to get Carter's real inside story about the capture of the German soldiers. To get the story, Lexie must travel with the team, and in time, both Carter and Dodge fall for her. Only one will win her love as the fourth quarter comes to an end.

We've teamed up with the great folks at the Denver Botanic Gardens to launch two great haunted house attractions at The Chatfield Botanic Gardens Cornmaze. The Butcher is being built using a brand-new haunted house concept never used in the Denver market. Along with The Butcher, we are also adding the world's largest Black Hole spinning tunnel. Admission to The Black hole is included when you purchase a Haunted House/Corn Maze combo ticket.
Returning for 2008 season are our two award-winning haunted houses The 13th Door and Curse of Slaughterhouse Gulch. They have been updated with all-new scares and excitement this year. Even if you've been before - you'll be completely surprised at all the new scares and surprises we've created for your enjoyment.
Nan Desu Kan Anime Convention

We are looking for people to act at our haunted houses this Halloween season. Positions are
available at two locations in the Denver Metro Area: I-225 & Parker in Aurora and at the
Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield (Wadsworth & C-470). We are looking for energetic and
enthusiastic people to perform in fun participation scenarios using improvisational skills.
Our goal is to have you help people have safe fun while scaring them to death.
We will be interviewing on SEPTEMBER 13 at 3:00PM at our 3184 S Parker Rd location (next to
King Soopers). Scheduling is flexible. Performances are in the evenings at both locations,
beginning September 19th and lasting to Nov 1st. You must be at least 16 years old for a
