Christopher Judge
Christopher plays the commanding character Teal'c, on
the Showtime and TNT series Stargate SG-1. Mr. Judge will be on stage
for Q&A both Saturday and Sunday at Starcon. He will also be
signing autographs both days at the convention.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Judge, whose ethnic heritage is African
American and Cherokee, knew from a very young age that he wanted to be an actor.
The oldest of two brothers, he studied telecommunications and film at the
University of Oregon on a football scholarship. The reason he played the sport
"was so that people would know who I was and perhaps make the segue to acting
less difficult." Though Judge was passionate about acting, he became a
three-time All-American football player as a defensive safety and played in the
Hula Bowl.
While in Oregon, Judge entered a contest to host a local morning radio show.
His witty monologue was so brilliant that he got the job as a morning DJ. His first
movie role was as Officer Sikes in "Bird On A Wire"
starring Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn. Judge's other film credits include
"Cadence," "House Party II," "Little Feet" and "The Glory Years." He has guest
starred in several television series including "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,"
"MacGyver," "Martin," "21 Jump Street," "Wise Guy" and "Gabriel's Fire." In
addition, Judge was a regular on the television series "Sirens."
Christopher is extremely passionate about golf and is actively involved with the
Boys and Girls Club of Canada.
