Tony Amendola
Master Bra'tac Gates into Denver for Starfest
Over seven years ago Tony Amendola had just completed working with Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones on The Mask of Zorro and got a call from his agent about a part on a TV show where he could play a 130 year-old guy. Figuring it would be a good variation from the period work he just completed, Tony decided to go-ahead and sign-on for a guest appearance on the new series. That series was Stargate SG1. Now, over 30 episodes later, Master Bra'tac has become one of the most endearing and popular characters on the show. For a man in his triple digits, Bra'tac is in excellent physical shape: A gruff warrior, spiritual teacher and all-around father figure to Teal'c, his young protégé (age 103), played by Christopher Judge on the series.

Tony excels in his work. He's an actor you can count on to deliver a convincing and thoughtful portrayal in any role. His genre television credits are quite impressive and include: She-Wolf of London, Space Rangers, Raven, Space: Above and Beyond, The Lazarus Man, Kindred: The Embraced, Spicy City, The Visitor, Poltergeist: The Legacy, Crusade, Star Trek: Voyager, The X Files, Angel, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Charmed, Alias, The West Wing, and The Practice. His movie work includes: Dark Avenger, Wishman, The Borrower, Chameleon, Spawn, The Mask of Zorro, Megiddo: The Omega Code 2, Dragon Storm, and Forbidden Warrior. His most recent film The Perfect Sleep is currently in production.

Mr. Amendola will be speaking on Saturday in our Main Events room and will be available for Autographs and Photo Sessions Friday through Sunday.
