Adam Baldwin

Adam Baldwin should have been at our convention a long time ago. There are just too many points of synchronicity between his career and Starfest. His coming to Denver is part of his destiny!

Adam's credits both in and out of the science fiction genre are extensive. He has worked with the giants of the industry, people like Francis Ford Coppolla (SF92), Robert Redford, Richard Donner, and Stanley Kubrick. Perhaps Starfest's favorite producer, Dean Devlin, has made great use of his talents on several occasions - Dean's father was the producer on Adam's first film.

His movie credits include: Ordinary People, D.C. Cab, Full Metal Jacket, Predator 2, Radio Flyer, Wyatt Earp, How to Make an American Quilt, Independence Day, Starquest II, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Patriot, Serenity, and the soon to be released movies Little Fish, Strange Pond and Gospel Hill.

Most people will recognize Adam from all the great TV shows he has appeared and starred on. He can currently be seen on the hit TV show Chuck where he plays the uptight, all-American NSA agent John Casey, whose job is to take care of Chuck until it is time to kill him. Many genre fans will know him from the cult hit Firefly where he played Jayne Cobb - the ship's enforcer. He reprised the role on the subsequent feature film Serenity.

His genre TV credits include: Sands of Oblivion, Daybreak (w/Moon Bloodgood), The Poseidon Adventure, The Inside, Angel (Marcus Hamilton), Stargate SG1 (Colonel Dave Dixon), Firefly (Jayne Cobb), The X-Files (Knowle Rohrer), Above and Beyond, The Outer Limits, The Visitor (Michael O'Ryan), The Cape (Col. Jack Riles), Starquest II, and VR.5.

Adam is also not opposed to lending his voice to animated work, most notably in Invader Zim, Justice League, Jackie Chan Adventures (Finn), Superman: Doomsday (Clark Kent/Superman) and Halo 3 (ODST Marine).

Adam will be attending Starfest 2008 Saturday and Sunday. His Q&A session is currently scheduled for Sunday.
