Kiowa K. Winans

Kiowa was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Graduating with a degree in Finance at Colorado State University in 2000 and a law degree from the University of Denver in 2003, Kiowa was eager to find a creative outlet. She joined forces with Jamin in 2005, co-produced his short film Spin, helped promote its festival run around the world and negotiated several foreign distribution contracts for the film. Spin was featured on the PBS show The Short List and has played on television in Russia, France, Germany and Blegium.

Kiowa helped pull together financing on Ink starting in the fall of 2006 and was instrumental in both the creative and business aspects of pre-production, production and post-production. Ink was a huge undertaking but Kiowa successfully brought the project in on time and on budget.
