John Travolta

The
Warner Brothers corporate jet had touched down. Our wait was over. I could
quit worrying, I had nightmares about getting a call - saying he'd chipped
a tooth or something and had to cancel. I knew people were flying to
Denver from all over the country for a chance to see the man in person.
And saw him they did! What a nice quiet man. Back stage before his presentation we went over the program. He'd go on stage after the trailer, perhaps tell an interesting antic dote from the movie and open the floor for questions. Other than a little scare, when he decided to alarm the security people by jumping off stage, all went well. I think it's safe to say we'll all be seeing the movie on opening day. Thank you John. You made a few thousand people's day in Denver. |
