Constructed of an epoxy-resin body and detailed with metal parts,
this communicator features a very intricate flip grill and
comfortable feel. The plated grill is somewhat fragile as each
individual slot extends vertically from side to side of the top.
This unit is the logical successor to the Classic TV series unit and
a much better design projection than the wrist units used in the
first movie (IMHO). The working unit now turns on when the top
antenna is flipped open. and activates the sequencing light display LEDs and digital
sound. Our previous model was activated with a slide switch. |

Static Model
Item # PRST3COMN
There virtually no visible differences between the working and
non-working units. The static unit does not have the side slide
on/off button, nor the bottom speaker grill and the interior LEDs are non-functional.
